The 2012 Lewiston-Auburn Mini Maker Faire was a great success! Here are some of the best posts from last year:
Did you have a great time at the Lewiston-Auburn Mini Maker Faire? How about a t-shirt as a souvenir?!
The first ever Lewiston-Auburn Mini Maker Faire was a smashing success! Over 600 children and adults came out for a day filled with performances, workshops, presentations and demonstrations on a variety of interesting topics. Click here for the latest article on the event, which helps convey the diversity of the projects and ideas presented.
We would like to thank everyone who helped make the Lewiston-Auburn Mini Maker Faire become a reality. This event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors: Bangor Savings Bank, Platz Associates, Lewiston Auburn Magazine, Gleason Media, Geiger and Consumer Title.
Thank you to Eepybird, AudioBody and the amazing Makers who shared their unique projects, passions and performances with us; they made the Faire what it was. An extra big thank you goes out to Stephen Voltz for the time and energy he put into helping to plan the event.
Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers who contributed their time to make the day run smoothly and ensure a successful event.
And finally, thank you to everyone who attended the Lewiston-Auburn Mini Maker Faire. We hope that the Faire sparked your curiosity and inspired you to “try this at home”!
Next year will be even better!

Don’t forget about our Headliners, Eepybird and AudioBody! They are both world-class performers and we are extremely happy to have them join us! This is going to be a great Mini Maker Faire!
Eepybird is probably best known for its Diet Coke and Mentos geysers, which event attendees will get to experience in person! Eepybird will also provide a peek into the EepyLab where some of their creative ideas are born and their amazing experiments take place!
And don’t forget about AudioBody, a High Tech Comedy Show which has been described as AN EXPLOSION OF AWESOME! Come see AudioBody in a hap-hazard adventure of sibling rivalry, technological mishaps, relentless comedy, full-body contortion, juggling, LED light shows, and up-beat music! And they are going to do two shows for us — how lucky are we?!!
